Mice control in Canada
Canada's most common indoor pest, especially once nights get cold.
How to identify it
Small grey-brown rodent, 6–10 cm body with a thin tail about the same length. Droppings look like dark grains of rice.
Signs of an infestation
- Droppings along baseboards, in cupboards or under sinks
- Gnaw marks on food packaging or wood trim
- Scratching or scurrying sounds in walls at night
- Shredded insulation, paper or fabric used as nesting
- A lingering musky ammonia smell
Is it dangerous?
Mice contaminate food and surfaces with urine and droppings, and their gnawing on wiring is a real fire risk.
Can I handle this myself?
DIY is not recommended
Snap traps can knock down one or two mice, but trapping alone rarely solves an active infestation.
